What Does PPR Mean in Fantasy Football?

In fantasy football, PPR stands for "Points Per Reception," a scoring system that rewards players based on the number of receptions they make during a game. PPR leagues prioritize players who contribute to their team's offense through receptions, making wide receivers and pass-catching running backs highly coveted assets. Fantasy managers often strategize to acquire players with high reception totals, recognizing their potential to accumulate more fantasy points.

In most PPR fantasy football leagues, players typically receive 0.5 to 1 point per reception. The exact value can vary depending on the league's scoring settings and preferences of the league commissioner or participants.
